A small Dutch project built around practical frustration.
Copperline Calligraphy Lab is operated by HUWETA B.V.. The project began in 2023 after a recurring problem in local practice groups: learners could see that a line looked wrong, but could not isolate whether the cause was pressure, slant, spacing or the tool itself.
From demonstration to diagnosis.
The first materials were simple comparison sheets showing the same stroke with different pressure timing. Over time, the method expanded into spacing, slant and ink-flow exercises.
The project serves remote learners in the Netherlands and remains educational in scope.
